My annoying alarm went off at 7:30 a.m. At that instant, I hated my phone. I did not want to get up. I went to Eastern Athletics for a quick 30 minute workout. After, I came back to my room and got ready for work. As usual, I had an iced coffee and started with social media in the office. We had a new intern in the office today. His name is Adam and he is Kristin’s cousin. Around 1 p.m. all of the interns went to Chelsea Market for street spotting. While we were at Chelsea Market, we had lunch. A nice, refreshing salad on a toasty day. Again, my back was dripping sweat. Disgusting. New York is beginning to remind me of Houston. We got back to the office around 2:30 p.m. I spent the rest of the day updating Thre.ad’s beauty blog database. It felt like a long afternoon. The air conditioning was not working in our office, so I was miserable. I think I was about to suffer from a heat stroke! 😉 But seriously, I was not feeling well. Kristin left the office around 5 p.m., so when 6 p.m. rolled around we all jetted. When I got back to EHS, Kathrina and I went to the gym. Her friend was still in town, so we three went to dinner afterward. Can you guess what we ate? SUSHI! Sushi will seriously never get old. After dinner, I came back to the room and talked to my mom and Sean on the phone. It was nice to catch up with them both. Then, Kathrina and her friend came over to hang out. For the first time in a while, I went to bed with a smile on my face. I was proud of myself for having a productive day. Go me!
